Feex Wiki

# Privacy

How static Feex Wiki pages, browser search, ordinary web requests, and the formal website policy relate.

## A public reference, not a PC scan

Reading a Feex Wiki page does not inspect the hardware, software, processes, or services on your computer. The server receives an ordinary web request for the page and its assets.

## Search requests matching records

After a short typing pause, the wiki sends your search words to foxhole.feex.it and receives up to eight matching public article records. It does not download the full article index. A search can update the page URL so the result can be shared or revisited.

## Articles load one at a time

Opening an article sends its public wiki path to foxhole.feex.it and requests that article's content. Images in the article can make separate asset requests to the same service. Feex sends no search words, device inventory, or telemetry in the article-data request.

## Markdown follows the same website boundary

A Markdown request for a wiki article retrieves one current article and uses the same transient public request quota as the website API. Static wiki Markdown pages do not use that quota. Feex uses the current Cloudflare Web Analytics service described in the [website privacy policy](https://feex.it/privacy/).

## The website policy still applies

This page explains the wiki-specific behavior. The [Feex privacy policy](https://feex.it/privacy/) is the formal policy for feex.it.
