# Rockstar Games Launcher Application: Rockstar Games Also called rockstar launcher, social club launcher Rockstar Games, Games Rockstar’s client. Some GTA and Red Dead installs need it even when you bought them on Steam. The process often includes RockstarService.exe. ## What you need to know Rockstar’s launcher still rides along on many Steam GTA installs. RockstarService.exe is the publisher service. Buying on Steam does not remove it. A “GTA crack launcher” is bait. ### Sign in with the Social Club account linked to the purchase A second Rockstar login looks empty even if Steam shows the game. ### Repair the Rockstar launcher before you replace a GPU Support’s launcher repair is the path when GTA dies at the Social Club splash. ## Alternatives Steam still sells the license, then starts this client.
