What is Winaero Tweaker?

WinaeroTweaker.exe groups visual and behavior tweaks. OOSU10.exe is O&O's privacy list. They overlap on a few ideas and are still different products.

If you want a list of Windows UI tweaks, Winaero Tweaker is Sergey Tkachenko's collection. Download it from winaero.com. Create a restore point first. It is not O&O ShutUp10++, which is a privacy-toggle list, and it is not a Microsoft settings app.

Classic context menus, ads, and extras. ShutUp10++ is the privacy-colored checklist, not this tree.

The left tree is Winaero. O&O uses recommended/optional colors instead.

Winaero Tweaker (2015) is a current ui tweak collection from Winaero. The vendor still points Windows users at https://winaero.com/winaero-tweaker/.

How old is it?

Winaero Tweaker appeared in 2015, the same year as ShutUp10. It grew as a UI and behavior collection. Current builds track Windows 10 and Windows 11. A 2015 screenshot may list tweaks that no longer apply.

Create a restore point, apply one category, reboot

That is the Winaero workflow. Do not stack a full ShutUp10++ apply on the same afternoon if you can avoid it.

Use System Restore or the tweak's reset if Explorer looks wrong

Winaero documents resets per page. This is not an O&O profile file.
